ABOUT ME & WHY NIS
My name is Laura Montrone. I graduated from the University of Utah in 1992 as a physical therapist. In my practice since this time, I have felt a level of frustration with some patients' slow and incomplete progress. Feeling there was a deeper level to the problem that I was unable to access. When I was introduced to the Neurological Integration System in 2018, the answer to accessing the deeper healing levels was evident. In 2023, I was introduced to Dr. Theodore Baroody's work with Holographic Health. I have studied all five of these books and find his work to give NIS the detail needed to address the client's complaints more deeply. This year, I added a patient direct account with Standard Process, realizing the nutritional suggestions I had been making would sometimes be better integrated with whole food supplements.
Opus was my 16-year-old Australian Shepherd who died in May 2018. After he died, I was a mess, both physically and emotionally. I went to Mount Vernon, Washington, to stay with a friend who recommended I go to Julianne Ash, an RN who is practicing NIS. After four visits, over two weeks, I felt more emotionally stable. A neck and back problem that had been with me for years started to dissipate. My energy improved, and it felt like my brain was coming back to me.
The name Opus Neuro Health is in honor of my beautiful Opus, who I miss dearly. It was through experiencing his loss, that helped me to find a new healthcare method. Integrating NIS with my physical therapy knowledge to help others heal to a greater capacity.
My treatment room is at the back of my home in a sunroom. It offers a bright and open feeling, with views of occasional squirrels running through the oak tree with acorns in their mouths.
